Nathan reached out to us for two sets of our TN cone feet and inquired about the possibility of getting one of our GP1 Isolation platforms for his REGA P10. His TT was situated on a wall mounted Solid Steel rack which would require that we relocate the platforms feet to ensure secure contact. Nathan requested that his GP1 be a Dark Edition with the harden surface. His GP1 example is also the first to incorporate our new black anodized engraved constraining top plate.

Here is what Nathan had to say!

Hey Derrick, you’re welcome to use the following as a testimonial. I’m seriously thrilled with the platform, just blown away frankly.

Ok, I did a lot of listening over the weekend and all I can say is Wow! I honestly didn’t think I would hear this much of a difference as this is “just another acoustic platform from another vendor…” Man was I blown away! There’s more separation between the instruments, the soundstage is more open and holographic, the positions of the instruments and the voices are more pinpoint in their locations, I can pick out and listen to each instrument or track in a recording in isolation, less smear or “bundling of the instruments” if that make sense, I heard new things in familiar recordings such as faint, overdubbed background vocals I didn’t know where there… in fact, I did a double-take on one Todd Rundgren track as it honestly felt like an auditory hallucination at times. The Toughnut GP1 is my biggest win in terms of dollars spent and. the sound improvement it afforded me. It even tops a recent phono stage upgrade that cost me nearly 6 grand! When I combine all of this with the top level customer service and care given from the moment I inquired about the product to the moment the unit was delivered, it easily tops my list of consumer experiences in my 55 years on this planet. I’m already considering a new Tough Nut Audio Rack as a future upgrade!

Thanks again,

Nathan J.
