PIRS 39-MAPLE WITH CARBON FIBER – #CS-005 – 24

The ‘ASK’

Even though this appears to be one of our PIRS 39 Isolation Racks, there are distinctive changes and upgrades.

Don Corby requested that we incorporate carbon fiber inlays so it would coordinate wtih the custom REGA Naiad stand that we also made for him. Both of these units were made for Toronto Audiofest 2024, and displayed in the Corby’s Audio Room.

The first upgrade exchanges our isolated maple trays with our new GP1 series Isolation Plaforms for even greater isolation. And as always, Don insisted on upgrading the top tray to a GP3 Isolation Plaform as the racks primary isolator. Last but not least, we have incorporated the IsoAcoustics GAIA-TITAN Rhea feet, to disrupt seismic vibration before entering the rack.

This unit is finished with Danish Oil for a natural clear satin finish that enhances the grain of the maple structure and highlights the carbon fiber inlays and black leather panels in the GP1 Isolation Platforms.

The unit measures 24.5”W x 24.5”D X 44 7/8”H, and the overall weight without equipment is approximately 205 lbs.
